Suspense, romance, conflict, and
a touch of humor, with a surprise ending that combines the misconduct
of a drug-dealer with the oft-irrational acts of a run-away wife,
the deeds of a crew of State Troopers, and the karma of an aging
war veteran |

What readers are saying
* The decisions you make define the life you lead, whether or
not you've been given time to carefully make those decisions
in the moment at hand. We have all the time in the world afterwards
to ponder whether this or that decision was a good one, nonetheless
they become part of our fate and we are judged by them. And for
good or bad, we affect the fate of those we know now and those
we meet on down the road.
This book is about the forks in life's road and how some people
traveled this one or that one and the life choices they made
to do so.
For you, the reader, now also have decisions to make. For good
or bad, you will decide the merit of the choices the travelers
made in this book. Kindly or harshly, you will also judge them
for those choices.
So pull up a comfortable chair with good lighting for reading
and crack open this book with a gavel handily nearby.

* I work with airplanes, and that gives
me an appreciation for looking at things from a different perspective,
and the development of these characters also gives the reader
a different perspective on why people sometimes behave the way
they do. The characters kept me wondering what was coming next,
occasionally laughing, and even though this was a fictional novel,
I found many places that had me thinking about real life situations.
I'm sure others reading No Rest for the Wicked (and I Ain't
Slept Lately) will find this happening to them also.
