  About the Author: From the small farming town of HALLS in West TTennessee to the Scenic City of the South, Raymond "Dub" Hale shares his inspiring story of work and faith that has sustained him on life's journey. Born in 1929, Raymond tells of his humble beginning, struggles through tthe early years, and purchase of a grocery store for $2,900 at age 18. He worked his way through Memphis State College by selliiing Electrolux vacuum cleaners door-to-door while earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administation. After marrying Ann Ledford, serving in the United States Air Force, and choosing Chattanooga as home, Raymond established Hale Realty and achieved success in the real estate and development business. Raymond and Ann have three daughters and seven grandchildren.
