  • Who of us, child or adult, hasn't felt a pang when the Christmas season ends? The illustrations in this charming picture book perfectly complement the magical tone in the author's tale of a little bird who also dreads losing Christmas.
Susan N.C. Price, writing coach, ReWrite: Scribbles to Stories;
editor and writer, SPrice Editoral Services

  • It is a great book, but it is too short. I would like to know more about the white bird and the tree, but mostly about the bird. It's the best part, I think, because it is like God.
Lenore, who will be 5 years old at Christmas

  • I read Mary's book and loved it. I'm buying it for my granddaughter.
